This data dictionary defines the fields used throughout the RICA Metrics Reporting Standard.

DimensionBroad domain of the metric: ecological, social, or financial.
Metric typeHuman grouping used in reporting navigation, such as Biodiversity or Livelihoods.
Metric subtypeSpecific subject within the metric type.
UnitStandard measurement unit for reported values.
CadenceExpected reporting interval.
Aggregation methodHow values can be combined across distinct projects for a reporting period.
Reporting periodCalendar period the value represents.
Actual valueReported observed value for the period.
Target valueExpected or planned value where applicable.
Evidence sourceFile, record, log, export, or note supporting the value.
Verification statusReview state applied to the value or submission.
Superseded valueA prior value replaced by a later correction while remaining traceable.
CoverageShare or count of projects in a portfolio or note pool with usable values.
