Acceptance Criteria

Acceptance criteria define when information is good enough for a decision. They do not guarantee financing approval or project success; they make the review basis clear.

Use this page to state the minimum conditions for accepting chapters, evidence, registers, and handover information at each decision point.

Decision PointInformation To ReviewAcceptance CriteriaReviewerEvidence Of Acceptance
ScreeningProject profile and initial requirementsLegal project name, sponsor, site, sector, owner, and current decision gate are complete.REPLACE: ReviewerReview note or issue log
Feasibility reviewFeasibility evidence and optionsPreferred option is supported by evidence, alternatives are documented, and open gaps are logged.REPLACE: ReviewerFeasibility review memo
Financing reviewFinancial model, risk register, offtake, governance, and evidenceAssumptions are sourced, risks have owners, and material claims trace to evidence.REPLACE: ReviewerFinancing review checklist
Construction readinessDesign, procurement, clearances, and implementation planScope, budget, permits, contract packages, and critical path are aligned.REPLACE: ReviewerReadiness certificate or decision memo
CommissioningQuality records, tests, punch list, and operator readinessAcceptance tests are complete or exceptions are documented with owners and dates.REPLACE: ReviewerCommissioning record
Operating handoverMonitoring setup, asset records, obligations, and Atlas mappingRequired operating records are complete and responsibility for updates is assigned.REPLACE: ReviewerHandover record

Reviewers should check completeness, traceability, consistency, and decision relevance. A complete table is not enough if the evidence is weak, stale, contradictory, or not connected to the decision being made.

Record rejected or conditionally accepted information in the open issues tracker. When conditions are cleared, update the relevant container review state instead of overwriting the history.

Atlas can use acceptance criteria to distinguish draft project information from information that is ready for financing review, construction readiness, commissioning, or operating handover. Acceptance history should remain visible after the project moves into monitoring.
