Statutory Clearances And Compliance

This chapter records the approvals, registrations, permits, licenses, renewals, and compliance obligations needed to build and operate the project. It is jurisdiction-neutral: sponsors must adapt it to local law and sector requirements.

The following categories are examples, not universal requirements:

Environment	Environmental clearance, water abstraction, discharge consent, waste handling, biodiversity approvals.

Conditions And Covenants

Permits may become conditions precedent to financing, conditions subsequent after disbursement, covenants during operation, or monitoring items. The Project Information Model must label each one and define the consequence of delay or non-compliance.

Caution

Do not state that a permit is not required without evidence. If applicability is uncertain, mark it “to confirm” and identify the legal or technical reviewer responsible.
