Reporting Workflow

The reporting workflow turns monthly project activity into a reviewed Atlas record. It is designed to keep sponsor reporting practical while giving investors confidence that approved values have an evidence trail.

ElementRequirement
Reporting periodThe month the value represents.
Metric valuesOne or more assigned metric values using the standard unit.
Source descriptionPlain-language explanation of where values came from.
Method noteCalculation or estimation method where direct measurement is not obvious.
EvidenceFiles, logs, exports, ledger entries, meter readings, surveys, photos, or reviewer references.
SubmitterPerson or organization responsible for the submission.

A reviewer should test the submission for completeness, consistency, plausibility, and traceability. The reviewer does not need to re-perform every measurement, but the reviewer should be able to understand the method and identify obvious errors.

TestReviewer Question
CompletenessAre all required assigned metrics reported or explicitly marked missing?
Unit consistencyDoes each value use the metric definition unit?
Period consistencyDoes the evidence match the reporting month?
Method consistencyIs the calculation method stable across periods?
PlausibilityDoes the value fit the asset size, production capacity, and recent trend?
Evidence qualityIs the evidence reliable enough for the intended reporting use?

Missing values should remain visible as gaps rather than disappearing from the record. Late submissions should carry their original reporting period and actual submission date. Corrected values should supersede earlier values without deleting the earlier submission.

A metric movement can become a material event when it signals a change in safety, legality, project availability, repayment ability, stakeholder trust, or the credibility of investor reporting. Examples include a major operating outage, loss of water source, material crop failure, evidence integrity issue, or unresolved community dispute affecting reporting.
