Confidentiality and Access Classification

RICA Project Information Models may contain site maps, contracts, financial models, land records, personal information, stakeholder correspondence, operating data, and commercially sensitive assumptions. Sponsors should classify information before sharing it.

Use this page to assign a confidentiality level to each major information container and to decide who may access it.

  • Share the minimum information needed for the review purpose.
  • Redact personal or sensitive information when a summary is enough.
  • Keep a record of which version was shared, with whom, and why.
  • Recheck classification before moving information into Atlas or using it in public materials.

Atlas can use classification levels to manage access, review workflows, and public/private separation. Classification should be set at the container level and refined for individual evidence files when needed.
